Mike was an amazing teacher. I was nervous at first and he provided me with feedback and tips that made me feel confident as a driver after the 15 hours. He's very patient and has a very positive style of teaching that I was comfortable. I would highly recommend Mike and the Canadian Star Driving Academy.

I took my driving lessons with Mike and he was an amazing instructor. He was very patient with me when I asked him questions or I made silly mistakes. I would recommend him for anyone that is looking for a driving instructor!

Really disappointing experience overall. I prepaid for a full driving package and ended up stopping lessons early due to the quality of the in-car instruction. During multiple lessons, the instructor was frequently on his phone which made me feel uncomfortable and honestly unsafe as a learner driver. As someone learning later in life and already nervous behind the wheel, I was looking for clear instruction, communication and support, but instead often felt unsure during lessons due to lack of direction and attention. I ultimately had to stop lessons and will now need to restart the program elsewhere at additional cost to myself. While a partial refund was eventually agreed, it took a lot of back and forth to get there. Would not recommend, especially for nervous or first-time drivers looking for a supportive learning environment.

I am very grateful for all the lessons and advice Mike have given me all throughout my lessons. I have learned a lot and driving is more fun now as I am more than aware with the rules and important things to remember while driving. The most important thing I have learned and wants to remind myself all the time is to be a safe driver. Indeed, I can say that I am now ready to take my G2 exam being mindful and confidently.

When I realized my G1 was expiring soon, I was very nervous and overwhelmed when trying to choose the right driving academy. After research and reading many reviews, I found Canadian Star, and I’m so glad I did! My instructor Mike assured me that we could complete the course in time to prepare me for my upcoming G2 test. Working with my schedule, providing useful tips & knowledge, and answering any questions I had; Mike made me feel much more comfortable and confident when behind the wheel. Patient and kind with his instructions; he would let me know areas to improve on and practice, as well as skills that he felt I did well with or had improved upon. I’m very glad I chose Canadian Star and highly recommend this school. Looking for a trustworthy and reliable driving academy is daunting with all the different options and reviews online. Save your time and money and call CS! They made what was a nervous and anxious situation for me so simple and accommodating! A big thank you to my instructor Mike; with his help and guidance through the licensing process, I now have the confidence to take my G2 test and get back on the road! ?
