My son is 16 and has been going to this school for 2 weeks. So far, it has been a very easy and smooth experience. My son is enjoying the class. I am writing now to compliment the front desk associate, her name is Daniela. She is SO friendly, always picking up the phone on the first ring when I call to ask questions. I will recommend this school to all of our friends and family. But please give that woman a raise because her customer service is top notch.

"Don't say sorry, it's like you're admitting defeat. You have nothing to be sorry for," Mr. G told me this after my first drive. I've had experience with driving, but I hadn't worked on it in a while for personal reasons— and I didn't have anybody to practice with all the time either. I was worried about my driving, my road nerves were so bad. Mr G. made the first drive less daunting, and he's proof that a good teacher/ instructor makes a huge difference. I'd recommend this school for anybody who needs more guidance when it comes to learning how to drive, Mr. G and the other instructors have been at this for years so they know their stuff. You're not shamed or made to feel stupid for being new to driving here at all, and for someone who hasn't driven before that is very important:0) I took my road test here a week ago, and now I have my license. If you need your sign to get classes here, this is it.

5/5 experience. They taught be everything to know about the road and road safety. Was able to take the test with them, so not only was I familiar with the people, making it more comfortable, but I was also able to get both my permit and license through them! The instructors were also very vice and friendly, making my drives less stressful! Overall an enjoyable experience!

Five stars for sure! Daniella and Sabrina were the first people I spoke with to get all the details about driving classes and getting my teenager his license. They were both very friendly, explained everything clearly, and gave me a flyer with all the information. What I liked most was that I only had to put down a $250 deposit to get started and could pay the rest after the final driving class. Our experience with First Gear was excellent! Lately it has been so difficult dealing with driving offices—if a document is missing, you have to schedule another appointment, and the wait can take a long time. First Gear made the whole process so much easier. I also loved the driving instructors. They really taught my teenager the correct way to drive and explained the rules well. During the last classes, they even had him driving on the highway—which I would have never dared to do myself! Another big plus is that students can take their driving test there, which only takes about 20 minutes. It’s great because they already know the area. We’ll also be getting a discount on our insurance, and honestly, it was a relief not having to teach him myself (teenagers think they know it all, haha). They drive First Gear cars, and you also receive text reminders about classes the day before. Everything was very organized. I hope my review helps other parents. We loved First Gear. Thank you!
