Established in 1995 by Doug Sorgat, an Ontario Provincial Police Officer, Cops Driving Academy Inc. has been a steadfast provider of top-quality education to countless local residents. Widely known as “Cops” in the community, the academy has continuously delivered exceptional instruction. Under the ownership of Steve Hart, a former Ottawa Police Officer with over 20 years of experience in the Canadian Armed Forces, Cops Driving Academy brings a unique blend of contemporary real-life experiences and Doug’s influential foundation, creating an unparalleled educational opportunity.

Their primary mission is to offer every client a positive, respectful, and unrivaled driver training experience. With a strong emphasis on cultivating safe and responsible drivers who possess cooperative driving skills, Cops Driving Academy is deeply committed to the cause. The academy holds a personal stake in this endeavor, as they are local residents themselves, sharing the same roads as their students and families.

Originally situated in Manotick and now located in the village of Osgoode, Cops Driving Academy specializes in providing MTO certified driver education courses to individuals of all ages, including young and mature adults.
