Fails to Signal / Improper Signal
- Always signal any change in direction as it communicates to other road users and a DriveTest Examiner your intentions. Signal in the direction you are turning out of your parking space and before moving the car. Failing to signal leaving your parking space would be marked but only as a minor error.
- If you are reversing, signal in the direction the back of the car is turning.
